Sarah Goldberg, who is best known for her role in the Emmy-winning HBO series “Barry,” will be joining the cast of “Industry” Season 3. The show, which is a co-production with the BBC, recently started production in the U.K. and follows a group of young graduates competing for a limited number of permanent positions at a prestigious investment bank in London. In Season 3, the story will revolve around Pierpoint, the investment bank, making a big bet on ethical investing and taking part in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company. Goldberg will play Petra Koenig, a portfolio manager at the ethical investment fund FutureDawn.
Goldberg’s co-stars for Season 3 include Kit Harington, who will play the CEO of Lumi. Goldberg and Harington are the latest recurring guest stars to be announced for the upcoming season. Goldberg’s other credits include the upcoming series “SisterS,” which she co-created, as well as the film “The Report” and the play “Clybourne Park.” She is represented by UTA, Mosaic, B-Side Management, and Hansen Jacobson.
The third season of “Industry” will consist of eight episodes and was created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay. Both serve as writers and executive producers on the show. Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther, and Ryan Rasmussen executive produce for Bad Wolf, while Rebecca Ferguson executive produces for BBC. The show’s logline promises a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media, and government.
