Kit Harington, famously known for his role as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, is set to star in the third season of the HBO and BBC series Industry. He will play the character of Henry Muck, the CEO and founder of a green tech energy company called Lumi. The eight-episode season will begin production in the UK this month.
Industry follows the story of young bankers at the London office of international bank Pierpoint & Co as they navigate the high-pressure world of high finance. In season three, Pierpoint & Co is betting on ethical investing and takes part in the IPO of Lumi, bringing the story all the way to the top of finance, media, and government. The series is created, written, and executive produced by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay and is a Bad Wolf Production for HBO/BBC.
While last summer, it was revealed that HBO was exploring a potential Game of Thrones sequel focused on Jon Snow, Harington will not be reprising his role in this project. In a recent interview, Harington talked about how he believed his character got off lightly at the end of the series. He also couldn’t say much about the development of the potential sequel.
Harington is represented by United Agents, UTA, and Jackoway, Austen, Tyerman, Wertheimer, Mandelbaum, Morris, Bernstein, Trattner, & Klein. Industry season three promises to be an exciting chapter in Harington’s career as he takes on the role of a powerful CEO in a green tech energy company.
