‘And Just Like That’ Returns for Season 3 on Max. A confirmation has arrived that “And Just Like That” is getting a Season 3 on Max. This announcement coincides with the upcoming Season 2 finale, premiering on Max on August 24. Season 2 originally started airing on June 22.
“We are delighted to extend our presence in the ‘Sex And The City’ universe by crafting fresh narratives around these relatable and inspiring characters portrayed by these remarkable actors,” expressed Michael Patrick King, the executive producer and showrunner. He added, “Get ready for Season three of ‘And Just Like That…’!”
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis reprise their iconic roles from “Sex and the City” in the series. The latest season also welcomes back John Corbett as Aidan. Joining the cast for Season 2 are Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, and Alexa Swinton. Kim Cattrall, an original cast member, is scheduled to make a cameo appearance in the series finale.

In addition to being the showrunner and executive producer, King developed the series itself. Alongside, Parker, Davis, and Nixon also hold executive producing roles. The list of executive producers also includes John Melfi, Julie Rottenberg, and Elisa Zuritsky. “Sex and the City,” the HBO series that laid the foundation, was conceptualized by Darren Star and draws inspiration from the book “Sex and the City” authored by Candace Bushnell.
